Tankbears Elefant
« on: September 25, 2014, 09:43:06 PM »

Well I managed to get this elefant from a fellow member so all credit goes to Mark for building and painting it to what you see here.

It came with no electronics so bring on the IBU2 Pro treatment  :D

Quick installation to get all moving

Needed some tweaking of the recoil and elevation servos

Added traverse servo

And general tidy the wires.

Ian.

Thanks Gary.

Well had to visit mother in law this evening so only a quick 30 minutes of work.

Well I did originally plan to use the TPA and twin speaker setup but changed my mind as couldn't figure a place for the sound effect speaker, normally I put it in the turret but no where here.  :( so I went with the standard 1 speaker.

So best place to put it is under an engine grill to let the sound out.

Ian.

Bit more work done.

Electronics secure fixed in place with M3 bolts

Rewired the power leads and switch

Battery compartment made.

So just need the hidden battle unit and it's all done.  :D
